Started looking for a new boat, so with out a Tige dealer close I requested a catalog. Is slalom skiing a thing of the past? Tige does not have a boat for serious skiers anymore. I was contemplating the 20i, but it is not shown in the brochure.

I cant be the only one left looking for a flat wake!?!?

Unless they have givin up on that customer, and let MC and Malibu have that business?

I know there are alot more boarders than skiers, but to have 7 boats focused on boarding? What am I missing?

Thoughts? comments??

I have been a Tige enthuast for years, and now am going to have look outside.

Also I have a 1997 Pre2000WT for sale if anyone is intrested!! Need an open bow, kids want to bring friends and its getting to tight!! going to miss those smooth, soft wakes!

The 22i is a D-Drive wakeboat. I ran a set behind mine the other day and it weren't bad but, its by no means a ttournament boat. A genuine badass might be able to run 22 off behind it and it would be a well deserved 22 off. If I had to pull the trigger on a Slalom boat, I would have a hard time not buying a Response. I would love to see Tige get down on a pure slalom machine.

What would you think of a retro boat, like the retro cars, Mustang , Camaro, take the ultimate slalom boat that Tige made the comp 2000, modern power and graphics and a touch screen?

I traded my 2000 SLM for a new 20i.
I have an '07 20i that has BADASSSS slalom wakes. A bump at 22 off, but what boat doesnt have one? I have run into 32 off with it, and my buddy ran past 35 off with it. The 20i is a great crossover as well. TAPS gies it a decent wakeboard wake, and with my 800 pound bag in the back locker, it is real nice.

Im kind of hopeing to see how many would be interested in a boat like that, I skied behind my customers 1992 2000 comp a few years ago and its wake was non exsistent, very impressive.

That was the Fineline hull though, not true Tige design. I'd like to see a true 19' closed deck, 3 event boat. I'm not saying I'd buy one, I'd just like to see one.

Just curious why would you say that a 200 is retro, nothing about it is styled like the past.
