Plans for the 4th

The wife, kid, and friends are heading up to Lake Almanor in Northern Cali for the extended weekend. What is everyone else doing?

Headed to Lake Anna for a week of Wakeboarding and Surfing.Oh and relaxing for a few minutes.

We are in Hilton Head SC already and hangin til 9th so no boating til returning.

Gonna Surf our balls off Saturday, go to the Blues Festival on Sunday - lots of boats all tied up together downtown Portland waterfront while the music plays all day til the late night hours. Since we will won't have any balls to surf with since Saturday, we will be surfing our a**es off Monday! First days of high 70 to low 80 degree weather we have yet! It's been like pulling teeth to get mother nature to give us some Hot Temps in the Pacific Northwest! And of course this is all done with great friends and fam!! Hopefully have some pics/vids to share for the July Pic thread when it gets started.

Tell me about the weather. I am down here in Reno, and we just got into the 80s two weeks ago. It's been low low 70s, mostly 60s, while the rest of the states to the east were HOT!

I'm sticking to town for the most part. Everyone will be at the lakes. No thanks. The town is empty. Sleep late, go to breakfast, screw around with the boat. Maybe catch a ballgame. We got a home series against the Salt Lake Bees (Angels). Go Aces!

We might sneak a boat ride in.

Will be heading to Lake Lanier in north GA today for 3 days. should be a lot of fun!

Heading to the lake house on Bridgeport for 3 days of family reunion. About 40 from the wife's side on Sat. About 40 on Sun. from my side and about 25 from my daughters in-laws side on Monday. Then we die on Tuesday. Brisket and fixings all weekend.

I have been on that lake many of times. I have family in Woodstock, and we would head down to hang out with them for two weeks out of the summer when I was in high school / college. My uncle had a mastercraft stars and stripes that we used to wakeboard / ski behind. Ahhhhhh.... The memories of not being sore after a day of goofing off on the water.

I just saw that 4 guys from the aces made the AAA All Star team! I knew they were good, but I didn't realize that they had that many great players. It's a HUGE honor to picked for an All Star team.

I just saw that 4 guys from the aces made the AAA All Star team! I knew they were good, but I didn't realize that they had that many great players. It's a HUGE honor to picked for an All Star team.

Where are you staying in Almanor? We used to rent a house up there every year. That was the first lake I surfed. I've got a buddy headed up there for the week. Don't start any chit with him. Skinny little white guy in a little blue and white Malibu with a polished tower and four Hawaiians stuffed in the back. They are trouble. J/K, they are all super nice guys. The white one is old Reno blood. Very good guy to know.
