I'm considering making a homemade Bu' floater wedge too. ..thats nuts! I am about to order the 1000lb fly high L sac that sit on the rear seats, but that plus my factory ballast will still only be around 2klbs. Where are you putting all of that if you don't mind me asking? I am pretty much wakesurf only at this point, so I need to load UP!! Also, what is that floater wedge good for on the Bus? I saw one last week with a plate that looked like it was hanging off the swim platform..is that it?

Wedge pulls the stern down into the water, which the engine and prop do themselves on a Tige due to convex hull shape. There is a purpose for a wedge on a bu, since the hull shape keeps the bow lower and an extra force is needed to rise the bow and sink the stern. On a Tige, since, the shape of the hull does not fight the natural force of the powertrain that raises the bow, all a wedge would due IMHO would be disrupt the flow of water and dirty up the wave.

who knows. i might have ran it too close to E and the gauge is fkd..I'm goin back over there in an hour with 20 gallons and some marine stabil
boat was cool though for a few hours. no surfing just tubes for all the kids at the party. I wasn't about to sacrifice my new boards..
.It was double and triple tubes.. big time whips and youtube quality crashing. My girlfreinds kid graduation type beach party..bout 30 some odd kids..we'd rotate off the pier with 10 or so each time. The FAE didn't keep the boat back too much...the mechanics at the marina were like those things suk...power robbers they called them. AND they didn't like my 1235 either. Said I should go with MORE PITCH ..I didn't argue. You can't argue with the best boat mechanics in the world hahaha. Aren't they all?.
It's amazing how much punishment 17 year olds can take..Even the girls were BA..The water was the low 50's brrrrr. Air temp 70...72... and these tahoe kids mostly shunned the wetsuits...they are indeed BA"
my midlife crisis started at puberty and I plan on enjoying it all the way to the end..

Looks like a beautiful boat. Sorry about the fuel issues, little things like that always scare me. I helped my GF's dad put in his sail boat in Meeks the other weekend, and I can vouch for how cold the water is...buuuurrrrr!! But then I thought the water in the delta wasn't warm enough yesterday either.
I definitely enjoyed the days of bottomless snow this winter, but it sure is sure nice to finally have some summer, lets hope it stays and melts some of that snow.

You almost ran out of gas? Maybe check your water fuel separator? You could have gotten low and sucked up too much water. My freaking lake is full of logs and debris from this flooding!Build thread: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?14787-Duffy-s-2005-24v-wakesurfing-mod-thread&highlight=duffys+24v

Bought mine from VS... wish I was as happy as you with their service.

...It was sunny THEN it snowed..disaster haha. Damn what a winter we've had. I must have had a zillion ft. of snow in my yard at one time. Here let me scare the crap outta' you with a sample March photo (right before we got another 3 feet haha)
Sorry to frighten you guys.
Here's the boat pics>
Damn snow
we spent over an hour and a half at VS Marine in Atascadero, CA giving it the once over..then again. ran it with lubed up drive. Sat in the back with the tunes for awhile...did a rip and talked alot...really 'scoured' it looking for issues....all was really clean...mechanically awesome too IMHO..and my buddies too.
They were'nt bs' me when they said it was mint. BODY...everything is real clean. One stain on the carpet that's it...nada..the rest is so nice I hate to take it out and the first blemish will surely break my heart
Almost bought this 06 22 Ava'. Thanks to Duffy I backed off and found the kine' 24v..whew...the Ava' was sketchy..despite the clock having 11 hours. It was an auction boat and did NOT look like an 11 hour boat whatsoever. Shame as it was less than an hour from my driveway. Same price as the TIGE 35k.. It would've been a short drive to Roseville near Sac.. I'm up near Donner Summit close to Sugar Bowl. I'm pretty sure the Centurion is still for sale. Teh dealer keeps texting me with lower offers...looked nice in the pics..but in person it was ratty for 11 hours..hahaha..scam
So this monkey walks into a bar...

why'd you have to quote me and show those terrifying pictures again...
Yeah I'm blaming the gauge for now
I'll check the seperator too
whatever I'm not gonna go start buying pumps and relays and stuff. It was running pretty damn good till that happened.
Remember we were whippin like crazy and the boat was up on edge alot. Near empty tank can easily go dry for a second I guess
What do ya'll think about the mechanics comment on the 1235? We're at 6250..alot higher than a mile. Air is thin..
and by the way the FAE is ridiculously quiet..I/O quiet..it rocksmy midlife crisis started at puberty and I plan on enjoying it all the way to the end..
