I found out yesterday they do indeed offer this taller tower but was told it doesnt "flow" as well with the lines of the boat. I was at the factory yesterday but did not see on in person.

By the way, props to Tige for trying to address some customers' concerns about the height of the tower. This is a pretty significant mod, and I think it's cool that they're willing to do it for some if they really want it. Every change to a boat has consequences for both form and function, so it's just a matter of whether the pros outweigh the cons for you individually. I did not see that towerless RZ2 on the website, but they do have a new leftover 09 24Ve. Called on it...asked the ridiculous question of pulling the Alpha Z off it, and they were not sure how easy it would be or if it would be too difficult to reuse the tower on another boat without having it installed at the factory. I was going to suggest the taller Alpha Z.. You can get taller base mounts, but JESUS! You're huge! Is there a tower on the market that will fix this!? I think you might just have to duck dude...

I scrolled back and checked out the pics of the extended tower.. This doesn't look too bad! I'm 6' even and I fit under the standard tower just fine but there's nothing wrong with a little more head room. The tower doesn't look bad at all on the white and blue, let' see some more of em! I almost am considering this...Comment
