My Boat is For SALE

yeah I hope you sell it... I know I sold mine and man was I at a "sticker" shock when I did sell it. I just wanted it gone, no point for me since I have full use to one on the water.

That is the problem. My work and time will not allow for use of it so why have it if I can not use it. Let see Kern County Tax went up $875.00 luxury tax. I fell over when I opened the bill. Insurance. $495.00. and yes I am not going to let is sit and rot so maintenance even when I don't get to use it. It just makes no sense to keep it and pay out the money for it when it just sits.

However like I said. I know what is in this boat. I know how much to the dime has been spent on it. and I know if anyone chooses to buy it at 45k they are getting one hell of a deal.

If not I will keep it. I own it and have no payment except maintenance, taxes and insurance. I will use it on those occasional times.

I however will continue the business and grow the customer base. I am finding my self fixing a lot of tow boats in town now on a pretty consitant basis for guys that are not happy with the one local dealer that is left here in town. Domz and Gemoney you know who that is. .

wasn't trying to argue with you Andy. I know how you take care of your boat, just like I take care of mine. In today's market though you can get the same boat for 20k less.... That's all I was saying. Granted there people out there that appreciated a GREAT USED BOAT (Like yours) just hard to find them.

Interesting that a guy list his boat for sale and everyone jumps on him for the price he is asking while at the same time wishing him good luck.
Fact 1) Andrew has a well taken care of boat, will he get 45k for it who knows ?
Fact 2) Could you really find the same boat for 20k less , maybe a 24v but not a boat with all this one has and in the shape.

And lastly who cares if the price is a 145k Andrew is a good friend and respected member of this community. Thanks for all the help and truely good with all your endeavors.

Thanks Kona my thoughts also. It seems that people don't understand that if it sells it sells if not I am not real concerned the only reason I am selling is I don't use it enough. The boat is a 2005 model with 240 hrs.and it had 101 hrs on it when I bought it. That tells you my use in 5 years time! It is quit humorous seeing how everyone responded though.

Frankly, you are probably asking too much, despite the great care and nice amenities that your boat offers. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that a guy bought an 06 for 32k?

Those are an anchoring system. If I remember correctly, he uses something like a slide hammer to pound those poles into the lake bed.

I hope no one thinks (especially SBFan) that I am 'jumping on him' about the price. A good friend would let you know when you are unrealistic, at least I hope my friends will do the same for me.
