If you look back at some earlier posts, you will see that they would only accept an order for one style platform and the same colors. I had received enough interest, but the problem was not enough of the exact same thing for them to do a discount. I went ahead and had one custom designed with the 22 Ve insignia cut into the deck pad. I also had some made for the transom walk thru as well as the rear activity center. Once I receive them I'll post up some pics.

Yeah I was inerested too. But they dont want to give us a deal on a bulk order unless they are all the same boat. I sayOriginally posted by Iwndr View PostIs anyone interested in this still? I recieved no PM and I am ready to order
on that. It is what it is but I think its a shitty deal on their part. They make good stuff so I guess they dont have to wheel and deal so I am still searching for an alternative.

I agree it's weak that they couldn't swing some sort of deal. I also looked into an alternative, but to be honest nothing else seemed to come close as far as looking like a factory install. I couldn't find any other company that offered routed edges and custom design options. So in the end, I guess they feel they don't need to offer any specials.Originally posted by kko View PostYeah I was inerested too. On the carpet vs. closed cell foam question:
I dramatically prefer closed cell foam (Seadek, Hydroturf) over carpet. CCF doesn't absorb water, so you never have to dry out your floor covering. No mold nor mildew problems. It grips better when wet than do most carpets. The list goes on and on.
I installed Hydroturf in my last boat. Made a WORLD of difference. If my new 24Ve had been ordered custom from the factory I would have ordered it without carpet of any kind and installed CCF. I may still do that, but I'm going to give the carpet one full season first to see how it works out.

Also, remember that if you would have custom ordered yours, since it would have been 2010 or newer, it would have full snapout carpet. I can tell you that it works and fits great, and you still have the great feeling of carpet on the bare feet.Originally posted by WABoating View PostOn the carpet vs. closed cell foam question:

That's true, but it would have come at a SUBSTANTIAL price premium over what I paid for a brand new, fully warranted boat. Snap in carpet ain't worth that much extra money. {grin}Originally posted by wallacmc View PostAlso, remember that if you would have custom ordered yours, since it would have been 2010 or newer, it would have full snapout carpet.

THAT looks awesome!!! If you don't mind, how much did you pay for all of that?? You can PM me if you want. Can't wait to see how that looks installed!Originally posted by jrj701 View PostWell the pads arrived today, and I am stoked about the custom 22 Ve I had made for the platform. The walk thru and rear activity seat pads also look great. Although nothing has been installed yet, I laid them out so you could get the idea.
