My motor (2008 RZ2 Marine Power 5.7) will stumble and almost die while idling along for say 4-5 minutes but runs fine at partial to full throttle. It also will be fine at idle again after another partial to full throttle but will stumble again after idling for for 4-5 minutes.
Ive recently replaced the following: high volume fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, rotor, cap. Approx 100 hours ago spark plugs but not plug wires.
I do have fuel smell at times too. No fuel in bilge or anywhere. I’ve checked all areas where fuel can leak. No leaks or smell.
Any ideas?
I do plan to pull all the spark plugs. And probably replace the wires.
