    High Pressure Fuel Pump?

What is a good reliable high pressure fuel pump for the Marine Power 5.7?

So, the question is why do you ask?

I have a 2007 24Ve that I have had to replace the HPFP a few times and kind of have that same question. Do you have the G-Force style pump and filter that was used on the MPI engines of those years?

I would like to hear about these pumps from one of our resident mechanics that may know more than I. For quite some time MPI was out of these pumps so I had to go to aftermarket suppliers. Same thing there. The MPI ones were sold out or ridiculously overpriced. It was mentioned in another post here that certain Ford F350 Diesel pumps work. 90's to 2009 I believe. I have gone that route before and one lasted a long time the other a short time and just today I replaced mine, only to get 30 to 35 psi out of it. I believe it should be 55 to 60 psi. Not sure if it is the pump, electric or something else. I will be troubleshooting it in the next few days as I pull it for the winter.

Resident Mechanic members, do you have anything to add to this?
