I have the Xplosion tower right now and it has been a good tower for me. Are they still around? I couldn't find their website anymore. What problems were you having?

Nice Looking tower. You must have on heck of a garage for it to fit thru with tower up.

Anyway sweet setup. With all of those speakers I am sure it will only be brought down if absolutely needed.

The bimini is 10'L so it gives the entire cockpit & seating area lots of shade.

This bimini is not functionless, it works perfectly. Especially with a newborn baby. Anywhere we put her she is in the shade.

I didn't mean to insult you.........It's the only other "functional bimini" I've seen in a long time (short for super nice bimini). If Momma's happy, then the baby's happy..........then the rest of us can be happy. We're in the same boat! I like it!

I agree, the stock bimini are barely cover the driver. I got the extended bimini as well and love it!

The new towers look great but the small bimini and the low and forward speaker positions blasting out back seat riders are the reasons I don't like them.

Is Tige even offering something other than the Alpha Z these days on new boats? I don't think I have seen anything else on any late 09 or 2010 boat.

Yes you can order them without the Alpha Z. If I was to get a new model it would not be with the Alpha Z. Mostly because once you have had a large Bimini you won't be going smaller, secondly I'm 6'3" and don't want to be banging my head either

I had a few issues with the old tower & recently replaced it with a new DBG Tower.

Basically same lines as the old tower, only with two (2) support bars across the top of the tower. One exclusively holds the speaker making this tower rock solid. There is very minimal side to side sway in comparison to the other tower.

What model DBG is it? Did you buy direct from DBG or a dealer? I am interested in model for forgive me but a non Tige application.
