    Vinyl make and line

    Hi All,
Looking to replace the vinyl in my 2016 RZR. I can find the make and part number for the 4 of the 5 different vinyls, but can't seem to find the silver/grey one in the photo. Anyone got any ideas? Have reached out to Spradling and they have been very helpful but can't seem to find the part number for it. Tigé have not really been able to supply me with anything apart from they don't use it anymore. As I'm starting to see a number of cracks in the vinyls I would like to get it replaced with the same, and of course it's the style on the back of the seat with the embroidery.

Not sure if it’s the same grey vinyl I just used, but if so, it’s Spradling simtex carbon. I attached a photo of the stuff I used. Was a perfect match for the grey “Graphite” vinyl in my 2013 Z3. Has a light woven texture to it. 2nd picture is the installed view of it. I got it from Great Lakes slipper for $18 a yard. Shipping was a bit high though at like $20+. I could possibly mail you a sample from the scraps I have if needed.

Thanks barfinator , I have a simtex carbon sample from Spradling and it's close, but not quite close enough (texture is different too). The colour you have looks more like what it is. Do you have the SKU or part number from GLS? Postage to AUS might be an option and would be happy to cover the cost.

Stock number is 1108674. It’s the carbon simtex I have. Do you have the original build sheet for the boat? It’s named graphite on mine but took a gamble on the GLS order and it was spot on.

What’s the texture like on the original vinyl?

Hi barfinator , Thanks heaps mate, I'll check it out. I bought it second hand so don't have the original build sheet. I did reach out to Tigé and it seemed like it was called "chrome". Can't seem to find that line. But will check out the GLS you have recommended.

barfinator , the texture of it is quite smooth and seems a little harder than usual vinyl. I'm not sure if that's because of the age or potentially the product I used to clean it and has now reacted with it, hence the cracking.

Ok, cool. let me know how it turns out. I'm trying to find the metallic silver/grey accent vinyl to recover a cup holder surround. Having no luck with that. I'll have to call Tige tomorrow since they don't respond to emails within a week apparently.

Hahaha, yeah not too sure why they're so slack on responding. I have reached out to our local Spradling rep and following it up with him. He might have a solution on the vinyl used.
Let me know how you go with your vinyl.
