2015 Z3 Fault Codes - Misfire on Cylinder 4 & 7

Hey all,

We have a 2015 Z3 with the 400 and were tubing our boys home tonight when we had the below codes pop. We have 495 hours on the boat. We have owned it for 4 years, bought it with 275 hours on it, I do not have knowledge if the plugs have ever been changed so figured Id start there.

I am planning to replace the spark plugs, but wanted to see if more needed to be done? Wires, injectors, something else?

Does anyone know if the part numbers below are correct? Its hard to find info on the wires and ignition coils.

Wires - Starboard side - WR6146
Wires - Port side - WR6147
Ignition coils - DG5125 and DG5126

Also, with these codes, am I going to need diacom or a computer to clear these codes?

Do the plugs first and leave the wires alone. However, we've seen misfire codes on Mercury Verado outboards from bad wires but RARELY in other applications. Find the root cause and don't just throw parts at it. Plugs should be done at 300 hours max and wires/coils are not on your current service schedule. Also, run 91 octane or better no lead and correct CAT compatible oil (sythetic and low phosphorous)...if you recently (within the last 5 hours) changed the oil and used regular petroleum based this may also be the cause.
