2011 Tige RZ2 Delaminated Tige Touch Screen

The Tige Touch screen on our 2011 Tige RZ2 is almost completely delaminated. It still seems to work ok. Does it need to be replaced or is is alright for it to delaminate. It started to delaminate around the edges and has just gradually worked its way inward. I am not even sure if I can still get this replaced, given its age. This would be our second replacement, as we previously had a screen die on us. Another thing to note...usually at the beginning of the season, when the boat has sat around for a while, the screen is extremely dim to where you can not even really make out what is on the display. After rebooting it (turning the boat on/off) several times, it has come back, but it just seems like a weird thing.

The dim switch is the button to the right. You have to be on the Home Screen to dim or undim The screen. Also, MTC screens makes an upgraded version of the screen and many have done this and been happy with it.

Hey! I had a delaminated screen on my 2014 Z3. I ordered the new MTC screen two days ago. Outside of the messy glue (it was ALL over the place and required extensive cleanup), the DIY install kit from MTC was simple. They have a video online to walk you through each step of the install process, which made it very easy. We tested the install before removing the adhesive for the new screen...worked perfectly. I can actually see the screen now in the sunlight, and all the buttons worked. I am excited to get it out on the water now that the screen is fully functioning. I hope you have success with your screens. I am very happy so far!
