I have a mystery vinyl discoloration I need some advice on. The whitening of the mocha brown cushion is irritating me and I haven’t been able to get it out with boat juice interior cleaner. I suspect one of two culprits: mint spray I bought off Amazon that is white to deter spiders that I sprayed very gently all over or windex that I was using on the windows and didn’t notice a paper towel that I left around wet. I’m not sure how either would cause this perfectly circular stain but I’m looking for advice if anyone has seen something like this and has advice how to remove. I bought magic eraser and am waiting for that to come in. 2019 Tige R23.

DO NOT USE Magic eraser. Leave it in the sun for a day and it will be gone. The cool touch vinyl does not like moisture, that is likely all it is. -

Don’t use a magic eraser!!! That is equivalent to sandpaper. Your best bet is to leave it in the sun and see if it dissipates over time. Magic erasers work good on other spots. I used it on the kitchen cabinets to remove some junk. We now have the same problem. Areas where the finish is rubbed off and it looks Horrible to me. Nothing like giving the wife ammunition on hiring a painter to come in. We repainted our whole last home and it was back breaking work. She doesn’t want to do that again and instead hire it out.Comment
