2009 22Ve swim platform skin remival

I have an 2009 22ve and the swim platform has that uncomfortable black logo skin that I’d like to replace with sea deck or gator step etc. how do I remove the old layer?

I've got sea deck on mine, but I'd like to know what you end up using to remove that stuff.

Peel it off then use acetone on the residue.
