    Transmission Fluid

When checking your transmission fluid levels… I’ve noticed prior to the transmissions getting in gear… fluids show at normal levels… after reversing off the trailer, I checked the transmission fluid level again and it shows below the “add” level on the dip stick. is this normal?

Yes it is normal. Shifting is done by diverting fluid out from the pump to the respective clutch packs.

I would assume so. The official fluid check procedure is to get the trans to operating temperature and then shut off and check 2 minutes after shutdown.

Gotcha…. I’ll be sure to do that the next outing.
