Adding Ladder to the Swim Platform on 2022 22RZX

Hey folks, new to the forum. I want to add the swim platform ladder to my boat and wanted to ask if the ladder the dealers install is this same one by Aqua Performance?

Seems like something I could install myself in the off season...

That is the one that Tige uses. It needs a spacer place on the bottom. The factory installs the ladder then applies the GatorStep over the screws for a cleaner install.

Please post pics if you decide to do it. I’d like to add it to mine and I’m replacing the gatorstep on the platform soon anyway.

… it doesn’t extend low enough.. you really need to get your leg up high to use it while it’s fully extended.

Ivan, if you sink it for surfing you won't have that problem! LOL

Also find the factory one not overly useful. Might be better off with more of a traditional swim ladder. I believe nautique offers one, maybe check that out.

Yes it is. It is bolted then GatorStep is installed.

I never noticed it effecting the wave on the various boats I have been on.
