Starting a new thread to share my experience with the new 24RZX. My previous boat was a 2021 25ZX.
24 rides/handles better and it’s not even close. Boat planes very easily and rides very smooth. I. An run 25+ through chop with no trouble.
25 deeper and feels a bit bigger even though I don’t think it actually is.
24 MUCH more storage (not that important to me)
I prefer the traditional bow of the 25(obviously not a huge deal)
24 interior is a step up from the 25.
24 rides up out of the water where the 25 rides very high in the bow. I always had trouble getting my 25 to plane out (with and with out weight)
24 is quieter and motor doesn’t seem to labor near as much as 25 (the motor laboring may have been something specific to my 25)
24 has thruster perko switch where 25 did not
24 has wireless charging stations plus USB ports
Nothings specific to 24 vs 25 but the new board racks are absolutely amazing.
I always said my 25ZX was my favorite surf wave I had ever ridden. (I run about 500lbs lead). In my picky opinion I think the 25ZX is a bit better than the 24. However, the 24 is really good and I’m still tweaking my setup. I know some have mentioned the 24 wave is too steep. I personally don’t see it. I run mine on the steepest setting. I’m contrast I always tan my 25 on either the most mellow or the second. Anything more and it was not long enough for me. Also, we ride at 11.6.
