    Search for switches

Does anybody know a manufacturer of good old fashion mechanical switches for replacing my touchscreen when it eventually goes out? I would rather stay away from the modern cheap plastic switches. I like the switches the old X-Stars and MB’s had, but I don’t know their source. Im considering the lit push button switch from Blue Sea but they are electronic and programmable. Any suggestion towards the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Contura series rocker switches are what everyone uses. Made by Carling. You can get various different looking face plates but they all have the same guts behind the face plate.

Ie, smooth rounded face plate with round red light is the same as square black with three texture lines on it

^^I like switches of these design but always use a much more expensive switch from Hardin marine.

The Xstar and MBs that have the airplane style toggle are made by Carling as well. Mouser has a plethora of them to choose from
