I have already posted this in the trailer forum, but am in need of an answer quite urgently, so am posting in general forum in case someone can help.....I have a 2003 24v on the original Dorsey trailer, and I need to decipher the serial number. Unfortunately the plate with the stamped info has become illegible over time. Does anyone have a similar trailer or know enough about these to help me figure out the format - ie do they always start with 42... etc, so I can try to figure out enough from the letters or number that I can see to figure it out. I have made a copy of the image (uploaded also) and played with image grading to try to figure it out, and put my guess so far above it in blue letters.
