2017 R21 Rudder

We have a 17’ R21 and I originally thought the steering cable was bad so we had that replaced over the winter and now the steering is still hard. I have heard that these 17’ had rudder housing issues and may need to be lubed to correct the hard stealing? Is this something that I can do myself?

I am experiencing the same issue. Steering is very stiff. How did you end up fixing?
