    Any Old-School Tige Owners here?

Hi All. New to the forum. Have a mid-90's 2002 fslm comp. Still looks pristine and runs great. Very few wakes have come close to this one - for slalom OR barefoot. Looking to see if anyone knows of a good source for replacement parts. Would love to redo my gauges but hard to find white on white with the pink/red glow. Also have some hardware that is aging - specifically the back padded storage/cooler flush-mount latch.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated!
    Cheers.

Most anything you replace that’s not mechanical you will have to source out and generally upgrade. You might be able to find one of the old latches though. Not sure where to start looking any more. Got a picture?

Hi TedC. Also sort of new to the site although I am the original owner of my 1995 2002 FLSM which I bought in 94 at the Discovery bay dealer. I am starting to update my boat by adding in a raw water strainer, wakeboard tower, new head unit and either a Perfect Pass or HydroPhase unit. As a note, I am also a "TedC" so I think it sort of funny we have the same boat.

I used Southco latches on all my trunk hatches. Funny that Nautique now uses them in their new boats. Southco makes all kinds of cool stuff.

Just bought and installed this from Sarasota Quality Marine Products. Had to make a latching/locking bracket for the cam to strike on but it was a great fit. I'll post a pic as soon as I can.

Sold my 2001 Tige a few years back since kids were grown and I wasn't wakeboarding anymore. pictures below. Did major updates on her and regretted selling her. Bought a 35 foot Monterey SC with twin 350 and customized her for our fit and love using her to go to the islands or lake. HOWEVER, we miss being close to the water,
So, I bought a new to us 1995 Tige 2002 fslm comp from a buddy for a sweet deal. However, it needs some updating.

Got her started, however, even in neutral the prop seems to be turning faster than "some" movement. Disconnected trans cable, put in neutral manually and it still kept turning. Thoughts?

Your trans has a "dirty" neutral. You most likely will need a rebuild of the trans to resolve. From my google search it could be a bad valve or the clutches are warped.

Borg-Warner Velvet Drive 1:1 transmission is what i'm finding. Any good rebuild kits out there?

Skidim, the go to place for inboard parts is where I would start. I would give them a call and see what they say.
