How do you remove the rear center section for easy access to the V Drive? It is not obvious.

Theres some screws in the carpeted strip at the floor and usually two bolts in the side that point out towards ballast bags/rear storage.

The easiest way is to have someone crawl in the locker and hold the nut, while the other person reaches through the access port in the seat to unscrew the bolt. The ones in the carpeted strip like freeheel4life is describing are a real PITA.

Once you have everything out, don't put it back in, unless you want the trim piece on the bottom. I just leave the rear in our boat loose. That way if I need to get into the bilge while on the water to inspect, fix, I don't have to waste any additional time. If I am towing the boat without the cover, I will put 2 screws in the bottom...would hate to lose the entire back seat assembly on the highway.
