Boat won’t start. 2017 rzx2 140 hrs.

Boat was working fine all morning. Turned it off for 5 minutes and it won’t restart. Batteries are good. Won’t crank at all. Like the bot thinks it’s still in gear.
safety kill switch?
how do I diagnose and fix? Dealer can’t get me in for 5 weeks.

Try jiggling the throttle in neutral. Have had that happen 2x on my rz2

yes the safety in the shifter has failed and its not the limit switch its deeper in shifter.. Here s what I did, on the starter there is 2 red wires jump that, the boat will start and you can continue to use until part comes in. I even went to napa and bought two long cables and a pushbutton, for starting the boat. very easy.
