Well it was a hard time knowing this I am sure. Glad to she everything worked out great for you and your wife.

I will contest that she loves the boat She likes the captains seat the best from what I remember.

Yep still does. Heads straight for it when she gets on the boat. She is now figuring out how to move the throttle lever and turn up the volume on the stereo. She is a very very smart girl. I would not be surprised if by the time she is 16 she is towing the boat, launching the boat, and using it with her Friends. She absolutely loves it. She will come out and just sit in it and work on it with me when working on it. Most of the time she will sit in the captains chair and just play with the stereo volume, turn the wheel, and run the throttle. I guess it is a good thing she has not figured out how to start it yet.

hahaha, give her time SPB. She'll figure out how to start the engine. Just make sure the keys aren't anywhere close so she can grab them, insert them into the ignition, and start the boat

I am an adoptive father as well we got the two for one special or walmart special as I like to say and got twins! You can take my boat my home whatever give me my babies!!! Glad I get to keep the boat and they love the water. Congrats man they are all daddies girls!!!

That is great. And it is okay that it is not a TIGE. At least it is a boat and you get to spend time with the family on it.

I may take you up on that next year. We have to get her to learn to hold her breath underwater this year. We work on it daily in the bath tub. It seems that she suck more water down the harder she tries. But there will be a point when she gets it and she just starts to hold her breath.

I am sure her brothers will have her in the pool all summer working on it if my wife and I don't.

Congratulations! Great post, the type we should see more often in the news, instead of the usual doom and gloom stuff.
