The biggest problem with my boat cover is that rain rolls down the cover and enters the boat where my tower is mounted. Do any of you have pictures of a cover built to prevent this? I'm looking to buy a new cover soon and am looking for ideas. Thanks.

same problem with mine, i started hanging 1 old towel around the tower and over the cover, looks like crap but it lets the water drain into the towel and down over the side of the boat. i would think some type of rubber cut outs could solve the problem -
Here is a photo of mine. Disregard the white ropes...I don't use them...not needed. Anyway, they made a "boot" of sorts on mine. It's elastic around the tower with a snap and velcro. Water does not roll down the cover and into the boat. The only water I get in is some that may roll down the tower itself and work it's way in between the tower and the elastic.

It's a custom cover. The dealer didn't get the factory cover because he said he didn't like them for some reason. He had the custom cover made (sunbrella) in Indy.Originally posted by Joeprunc View PostComment

I have one that was built in seatle...same deal as gaupos, just different tower. It is tight around the tower poles and doesn't let anything in. I will get you the name of the place if you want it. I can pull the boat as fast as i want and no wind wipping or scuffs. Its a great cover and I think it was around $1000.00.Comment
