So for the next three nights it's supposed to hit 36 degrees for a low. What is everyone in Colorado doing, should I drain it today or do you think it will be okay. It's not going in to the shop for another week for winterization but if needed I could go drain some fluids today. It stays in an outdoor lot with two covers over it.

It will need to get a lot colder than that to freeze you block. Water wont even freeze until 28 deg f. You will be fine.Originally posted by Micah View PostSo for the next three nights it's supposed to hit 36 degrees for a low. ^^^ X2, even a quick dip below 32 will not be enough to freeze the amount of water in the block.Originally posted by KonaKing View PostIt will need to get a lot colder than that to freeze you block. It's not going to be cold enough to freeze, but I'll tell you this, it's not fun thinking all winter "I wonder if I waited too long." I did that intermittently last winter, and it was miserable. Another thing you could probably do is run the thing on a fake a lake and get it good and hot. Leave the plug in the bottom and keep the thing covered. Quite a bit of heat will stay in there.
