Thanks for the input, Tall. Just more being lazy/impatient, I guess. The sacs aren't built-in -- they're fat sacs with the Tsunami pump. I did move the Taps all the way down.Originally posted by talltigeguy View PostAre you trying to conserve electricity? Just empty the ballast.
In all seriousness, I would expect you to be able to plane with that much weight. Make sure to put the TAPS down.
Anyone tried the 1237 (same 14.25 pitch as the 1235, but 13.5 diameter like the 537)? This is weird. I have a stock prop on my 24v with 6.0l. I just had 16 people in the boat on the weekend with the 900lbs of ballast. The engine definitely worked harder but would still plane out and pull the rider out of the water. That is about 3300 lbs.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

I'm still a relative newbie and am still experimenting. Some of the more experienced guys on the site are not using much, if anything, up front. Another thing to remember it he depth of the water you are in.
