Were the tryouts at the Gaylord Texan? That place is beautiful, I take my family there during Xmas.

We should be hearing any time now if my daughter is one of the 45 who gets to continue. The suspense is killing me. Its already past 8pm in Texas. make a decision judges!!

did not make it to the group of 45. She said she had a great time and had a lot of fun. She knows what to expect next year when she does this again

That sucks but again, she learned something about the process and she also meet new friends. Those are the things that make live fun. She will have better luck next I am sure of it.

Let her know we were all rooting for her and wish her good luck next year. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a small X beside her name just because it was only her first tryout. With some things like that, they expect you to try out more than once to prove you really want it.

Picked her up from the airport. She had a great flight home as I put her in first class. She had a great time. One of the existing cowboys cheerleaders told my daughter she rocked in the routine they had to learn. She plans on going back next year. I am told that they begin showing the show on June 12th on the CMT channel. Not sure if she will be in it but should be fun to watch. Thanks for all the kind words and see you out on the lake. She is definately planning to make the lake mead reunion this year
