Fly High V drive fat sacs

I know some of you must be using these sacs, have you been happy? Do they have a separate drain and fill opening? Any help is appreciated!

I really like mine. In fact, that's what I used for my automatic ballast system. They are very sturdy.

They have one vent on the bottom and two on top.

I have them too! They are very heavy duty! I also have a pair of "Masterline" sacs, not even in the ballpark with the quality of the Fly High's.

If you decide to get the Fly-High V-Drive sacs I have a set of used ones you might be interested in, $100 + shipping. They were used 1 season(last year) and in great condition. They were perfect for wakeboarding but I bought the bigger Fly-High Fat Sac (750lbs) this year for a better surf wake, I just don't fill them full when we wakeboard. As advised by Fly-High I did glue in the quick disconnect fittings, but I have removed them per the Fly-High recommend procedure. There is some residue from the glue, but no damage what so ever. I'm gonna be out of town till Thursday afternoon, but when I get home I'll post some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about.

What type of glue did you use?

PVC, it's what Fly-High recommends. The fittings were removed by heating the fitting with a hair dryer before removing, no damage but it does leave some of the PVC residue.

Thanks for all the input, guys! If this goes well, I hope to plumb them into an automatic system as well.

BlownC6's response makes me want to ask...do I need these quick disconnects he speaks of? Please forgive my newb-ness!

The quick con's just make it real easy to remove the sacs for cleaning/drying of the boat. Either way, you still will need to buy a barbed fitting for the sacs when you plumb it in.

What type of glue did you use?

I use 3M 4200, the PVC glue did not hold tight and long enough. Next ones will probably get 5200.
