What tubing did you use on your ballast system when you installed it? Are you happy with it or would you use something else?

I used the clear plastic tubing with the wire mesh inside. I got mine at Home Depot. If you buy a whole roll, the last 2-3' get pretty mashed down, but other than that, it's great. It retains it's shape really well and is easy to work with.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

Do you have any problems with it kinking?Originally posted by dogbert View PostI used the clear plastic tubing with the wire mesh inside. I got mine at Home Depot. So far I am looking at using the Flex PVC from the Manifold to the Pump and then using some multiflex from the pump to the bags. I am just worries that the Multiflex might cause some problems with the clamps.Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

No, it won't kink unless you try to get it around a really tight corner. In this case, I just used a 90 degree hose connector to do that.Originally posted by Coach View PostDo you have any problems with it kinking?

Thanks! That is what my plan is. Flex PVC from Manifold to Pump and Multiflex from pump to bags.Originally posted by lee View PostWe use this 1.5" hose from the thru hull to the manifold.

This 3/4" hose from the manifold to the tanks/bags.
