Ahhh, memories.

Season 1, passive draining in custom 1000 lb sacks.
Season 2, installed riser loops on drain and vent. Still passive draining.
Season 3, knew draining though vent (could see it) so routed vents to opposite side. Still passive draining.
Season 4, finally routed drains to opposite side. NO PASSIVE DRAINING

Save yourself some time ... route the drain and vent to the opposite side

My custom 1800s still drain even with the vent and the drain on the opposite side. I use a small expansion plug to keep the water in.

So i added the loop in both hoses... Stopped the vent from leaking but not the drain. Guess im going to get a couple of t-hull for the port side. ... It's all good i have never had more fun setting up and dialing in this boat. I caught the wakesurfing bug big time!!

Without spending too much time working on the boat this summer, we just leave the rear surf side pump run while surfing. This keeps the bags full. Don't seemed to be a simple solution to keep the weight in and consistant. Don't know how hard it is on the pump, but quicker than routing hoses. Just my

Watch out for wear and tear on your locker hinges and latches.

I guess i will be putting it down for the winter here in a couple of weeks so time wont really be a problem. We have been running the pump once we notice it going down a bit but it almost seems to run out faster with the pump running. Once it gets started leaking its like you almost can't stop it... Not that i'm gonna let a little leaking drain keep me off the lake!

Exactly, route both the vent and drain to opposite side of boat and ensure the fill line has a check valve! Hopefully Tige is making this the standard for all 2014 boats to fix any possible water leakage issues.
