Got a custom surf sac for my 22ve to replace the 250# surf sac in the one of the rear corner locker. As "plug n play' is there anything specific that i might need to know or have on hand to install the new sac?

Do you have the factory surf system or the basic hard tank? The factory surf system is a 250# hard tank under the floor with a 350# sac on top. It's easy to plug and play to pull the old sac out and add an bigger sac to sit on top, just requires channel lock pliers. If you have the basic 250 hard tank under the floor then you will have to do some plumbing work, probably add a pump or two and wire in some switches.Originally posted by mooney08 View PostGot a custom surf sac for my 22ve to replace the 250# surf sac in the one of the rear corner locker. Mooney,
The only thing I would recommend, would be to add a little bit of sealer around the threads of the new sac valve thread fittings. This helps them stay tight for a leak free connection. Other then that the female quick connects will be released form the OEM sac and it gets pulled out. The new sac will plug up in its place. Slip the fittings together and slide the red collar down to lock the fittings.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
