Z1 Custom fly high Bow Sacs

They should, Tige uses the Fly High sacs now, instead of their own, right?

Actually, the easiest thing to do would be to just lay them in and manual-fill them. This was you're not tearing up the factory plumbing just for some R&D.

I would be glad to test the fit of the sacks. I have spare quick fit manual fill attachments and a tsunami pump.

I have a '09 Z1 that we bought new in February and had a blast using it this summer. We got a wakesurfer too, and my whole family loved trying to "master" it - even without having any ballasts. My 13 year old was the only one who could ride forever without the rope. My wife and I were able to go for up to a minute but would always end up losing the wave. At the beginning of the summer, we mostly went out with my wife, 2 boys, and me. At the end of the summer, we had a packed boat but we still needed to ride very close to the boat (I usually had to be 1-3 feet from the swim platform).

We eventually would like to get some ballasts. Would these be something good for us to snatch up? By the way, we have nothing, so I know we'd need a pump and some weight for the rear locker. Any thoughts?

Now, more important then the bow weight, is weight in the rear on the surf side. You can go with a simple set of W701 V-Drive sacs (400lbs each and can be used along with the W711 to produce a nice wakeboard wake) or a single W707 original Fat Sac that is rated at about 750lbs, or the W718 Jumbo Surf Sac that rated at 1100lbs (but will probably give a good 800+). Then you could step up to our custom Surf sac, which will give you close to 1000lbs.

I thought they were 400 lbs each. For surfing I wanted weight just on the one side. I have filled the W711 after the back was weighted and the wake was better when I had a W701 on the seats.

Looks like they have updated the site and they are listed at 200lbs each, which is about what I figured them at. The W711 will give you more weight in the bow of a 22Ve, but we still dont know if having separate sacs is an advantage.

When I roughly measured the rear locker, it was 31" X 19" X 24". Would the W714 fit better? I want the sac in the compartment (as opposed to the floor or in seats. Also, do I need to worry at all about the fact that there is a warning label on the floor inside the rear locker stating "Warning - do not exceed storage floor capacity of 80 lbs." Thanks.
