I would like to upgrade my ballast pumps. Any recommendations for me? It would sure be nice to fill and drain my bags faster. Sorry if this has been addressed somewhere else. I couldn't find anything specific.

I think you have the Tsunami 800 gph which is 3/4”. There is a slightly higher capacity pump (Johnson 1000) but the real upgrade would be going with the Tsunami 1200. However, the bigger pump uses 1” NPT IIRC. You’d have to change everything to 1” to realize the gain which in my opinion would be a PITA.
Maybe someone on here will correct me but most I know stick with the longer fill times or get the newer boat with the upgraded systems. -
I added one reversible pump for front bag and moved both fill bags to rear bags and this has my fill times greatly improved!Comment
