Bc rider and I have spoken quite a few times and both agree as most others with the 22ve as much weight surf side as safe ie: I run 1250 plus the 250 in floor plus a 400 on the seat if it’s just my family then opposite side 250 under floor and up to (guessing) around 300-400 on top and if no one sitting up front horseshoe bag full. 11-11.4 and taps 3-5. Home made suc gate closest to back without it spraying over to the other side of wake. Seems to be about max this boat will do. Yes you lose storage and yes u need a diff prop but it’s also a shallower boat than all the new ones. I do what bc rider does, throw life jackets from one side to the other depending on what side were surfing. Better wave is worth losing some storage over.
