Suggestions for ~ 200 lb movable ballast

Can anyone provide suggestions for a moveable ballast sack, preferably with handles, of about 200-250 pounds. It will supplement a 1200 custom in a 2009 RZ2 for surfing. Location will be on floor or bench. Necessary for those days when not as many people are riding.

you have a sweet boat and your having trouble getting moveable ballast....dude go to the bar and meet some chicks offer them beer and a boat ride...quit inviting all the dudes who arent bringing girls, or make your friends realize they need to bring some ladies....man I lived in stl for 3yrs back in my single days and it was pretty easy to meet the ladies. If your married then you may want to rely on your buddies to supply the girls...then its not your fault.

you could make lead weights like I did in pvc pipe, cap the ends and put nylon straps around them. they ended up being about 10 inches long and weighed 50 lbs each.

Duncan - I've heard good things about Pop Bags. While you probably wouldn't want to pay for shipping of the steel shot, you may be able to purchase just the bags and then fill them with weight yourself such as steel shot or used lead tire balancing weights. Just a thought.

why not just use one of the standard v-drive sacs 42x16x16 holds about 400lbs and put it on the floor on the port side. We have done it that way and everyone just uses it like a foot rest. You don't have to fill it all the way but if you need to you can.

IMO...I'd steer clear of anything but water ballast as it's there when you need it and you simply pump it out when done...don't have to worry with what to do with the lead/steel when the ballast isn't needed...just my 2 cents...
