Is this the factory Bimini Mount?

In these pictures, you can see a heavy duty stainless (??) post on both sides of the boat. PO tells me that they all came with that as a factory tower mounting point. I am guessing that it is really the factory Bimini top mounting location, and the owner before him moved it (it actually is perfect in the location it is, the folded top allows for the back compartment to be opened even when stowed). The current bimini mounting points look far too chintcy to be factory (black plastic).

That is the extended pylon support base.

You have the extendable pylon in your boat, it is in the lower position.

So, PO didn't think it moved. Have to check it out.

Are there ropes or poles that link to the sides?

Should have a pin that would pull out and and raise it up a bit and install pin. Should have cables that would go from pylon to the mounts on the side.

Old thread I know.... anyone know where to get the cables and how they connect to the pylon? I just bought a 99 2100v and I have the extended pylon and the mounts so I need cables and pins thanks
