Future Tige owner looking for 2007-2009 22Ve or RZ2

I'm looking for a 22' v-drive. Budget is 35-40ish. My four kids are wanting to wakeboard and surf so tower, ballast, and some kind of cruise control is a plus.

I'd like to stay within 300 miles of Shreveport, LA. I would also entertain a 24Ve if the price was right.

I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan, so the purchase would not happen until late August but I wanted to start looking now.

If anyone knows of anything or is thinking about selling, feel free to contact me.

      x2 on the appreciation

Check out onlyinboards.com when you have time. Also consider lengthening your radius beyond 300 mi at least for your online searches. Even if you want to eventually find something closer, being informed of what is available with certain options at different price ranges will be helpful as you browse boats.

Your price range will allow for some nice options.

There are some very knowledgable folks on this forum (yours truly not included) so don't hesitate to post questions - you'll be amazed at the feedback you get.

Good luck and post some pics once you make the splash.

I am considering selling my 2006 24v. It has custom ballast in front and port side, nice sound system, new 2013 Roadrunner custom trailer, around 420 hours. I would have to have 37k with the new trailer and all. Just throwing it out there. image.jpgimage.jpg

          Did you see this one?

I realize its farther away but it sounds dialed in ready to go (ballast, cruise, surf pockets in bimini, nice sound system). It also has a modified swim platform that other 2007's will not have, so if you are looking for clean RZ2 surf wake, this would be it.

Stingreye, yes I looked at that one but I'm not ready to open my search radius that far just yet. If I can't find something closer to home, I might have to go that far.

rwdavis1, looks good, but I'm trying to stay at 22' for future storage space purposes (even though I think I'd like the extra room in the 24).

Yeah I had to go to Texas to get mine. It was surprisingly not as expensive as I would have expected (I think I paid 1,400 with extra cargo insurance on USHIP from a highly rated shipper).

A few others I found on Craigs using searchtempest.com

Out of budget but looks sweet!

Bad Ad but price is right (watch out if this is a scam but if its legit it could be a great deal some people just don't list their boats well and you might be able to get a deal)

Another Option could be too far too

When I bought mine, I paid for a marine survey (around $500 I think). I would recommend having someone check it out before dropping the kind of money.

Just over your budget but you may be able to get the person down a bit. I paid 44k Canadian for my 09 22ve this spring with 216hrs. http://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=44014
