Sucks man, I was really looking forward to those for this weekend. Tired of those bricks on the seat.

I don't disagree. You'd have to find a suitable container that's flexible and durable.

Good point. Especially the plastic ones filled with sand. Speaking of which, why wouldn't sealed sand bags work?

You could make your own. Somebody on here went to a tire shop and collected the balance weights that they throw away when they replace your tires. Get some tough canvas bags and line them with some tough plastic and you'd have what you needed. Pop bags are nice because they use small lead pellets so they're super maleable. Or you could you could melt them down into bricks that you'd cover with carpet, but you'll need to be super careful because lead fumes are very toxic.

For surfing, I have the Fly-High W716 "L" shaped Surf sac = 700#'s in the port storage. When we dont have put a few people in the boat, I throw a W701 400# V-drive sac on top of it.

I have a W711 Bow sac under the front seats, and another 400# V-drive sac in the starboard storage for boarding.

I ride the CWB 4.9 Tsunami.
