This might be a little premature but after I received a damaged 05 yellow loogie, the replacement 06 yellow was also damaged. They received it back today and said they were going to send me the 07.5 Yellow for my troubles. I hope UPS is kind to this one

Here is a vid I did of my kids this summer, about halfway through you can see my son (12) riding on the 2006 yellow loogey, he is now doing airs, and starting to do spins, and has the green loogey. A big improvement over the 2006 yellow loogey.
Oops, forgot the vid. No, I couldn't quite free surf, but that is my goal for spring! I will have a brand new Red Woody. I have said it before, but when I saw that Red Woody, DAMN. We were at worlds, and Lance comes walking by holding it....

It was FRICKIN beautiful. It inspired me to really work on losing some weight and getting up on that thing. He told me they got a couple guys free riding on it, that were 350.

Were you able to free surf with the Red Tide?

    What happened to the vid?

Send an email direct to inlandsurfer. Talk to lance, I believe he just got back from a surf trip on costa rica.

    lance - (at) - inlandsurfer - (dot) - com

Sorry about the cryptic email, but don't want it to get spydered and then spammed. He is a real nice guy.

I grew up surfing in So. Cal and have surfed throughout the US, Mexico and the North Shore. I have recently started wakesurfing and have already begun spins and airs. I am in the market for a board, I am 6'4", 200lbs and surf behind a 07 24ve. I have been using a CWB tsunami bit it feels to long and not enough drive off a bottom turn. Do fiberglass boards make a big difference? I have been looking at Inland Surfer, Walker, Placebo and Shoreline. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I saw one in person, and I have never seen anything so beautiful. I will also get the blue lake. I am a big fan of Inland, especially after meeting the crew at worlds. With those 3 boards, every one is covered. If I was just getting 2, I would prob do the loogey and the tide.
Do you ride? If so, what do you ride. The reason I'm asking is I'm a big dude also.

With my wife being on the smaller side, but still learning to free ride, will the yellow Loogey be fun for her or will it be frustrating, I have heard it is a loose feeling board.

I guess I could just buy it and sell it if she doesnt like it...

The thing that bothers me about it, is the weight limit of 200lbs. For the kids and the wives it is perfect, but is this really a good board to have on the boat if you do not have kids?

Has anyone over 200 ridden this board? and what did they think? I am going to add to my inland collection but I am not sure with what? I want another board that everyone can ride in the boat ( 120- 250) and have fun on it.

Maybe the blue lake? but is it different enough from the Red Tide? LOL...

I have a Red Tide for me. I guess the problem with the IS line is each board is for a particular type of person.
