Hey, our boat is having some issues running, and the mechanics in are area are all too busy to get our boat in right now, so we were hoping someone here could help us figure out what’s wrong!
We have a 2007 (or 08, can’t remember!) Tige 24VE. We used it all last summer, no problem, until the beginning of September we took it out one day and it would run fine, then lose power for a few seconds, then speed back up, and so on. We took it in to a Tige shop and they did a full check, said they fixed a bunch of stuff (can’t remember what exactly, but the fuel filter was one thing), and they winterized it for us and said it was running perfectly.
Fast forward to a month ago when we took it out for the first time this year, and it’s doing the exact same thing. Starts up no problem, we get going, and then it loses power, but within a couple seconds speeds up again, and it keeps on doing that. Any ideas what the problem could be?!!
