The drill pump I use can be found at West Marine for seemingly way too much money but Harbor Freight, Lowe's and Home Depot carry them occasionally as well. The fitting on the end of the drain hose is 1/4NPT and I use a brass 3/8"barb to 1/4NPT male fitting screwed into the end of the hose and then connect the rubber hose adapter from the inlet side of the pump to the hose fitting. It'll pull all the oil on a warm engine in less than a minute and if it's cold, maybe two or three minutes.
Whitlock, I just hate waiting. I can get my primary filter, bypass filter and oil changed in less than 5 minutes this way.

Ok dump question, do you guys really use a pump to change your oil instead of the drain hose?
I just stick my drain hose through water drain plug hole and drain it that way.
Now for the trany and V-drive, I use a pump.

I've tried configuring pumps and always laughed at the Moeller units (we had a 35hg vaccuum unit for on site stuff) but mobile extraction ease came down to the drill pump, $35 West Marine, $10 Harbor Freight, it works every time.
Can you provide a link please?

Yes that would work fine with yours if the oil is warmed first.

It seems that the Moeller fluid extraction kit is no longer made/sold. I am looking at this one:

Does anyone have any experience with it?

MOELLER Fluid Extractor Kit. I bought it for my older four Winns before I bought the Tige and it works fine on either of them. Got mine at Boaters World Store in my area. 8 years and going strong.

Seacrch on OIL Extractor the 4.0 litre model $61.99

What features do you like over the Moeller?
i got it at west marine. way faster will empty a tranny in a matter of seconds and i think it gets more out. it also comes with an adapter to fit on the boats that have the threaded dipstick wich was a big plus because alot of the boats i service dont have a drain hose they only have the threaded dipstick tube. the 1 thing i hated about the other one was trying to hold the hose in the tranny while pumping the handle the hose always had a mind of its own and wanted to come out getting fluid it places it should not be. the electric one just is easier to use all the way around. the one in the pic is not the exact same one i have. the model i have has a bigger impeller. but its the same overall setup. the vacum type one will work but IMPO the electric one works the best.

He is a lazy @$$ and doesn't have to pump it

Just kidding, thanks for getting to my boat so fast. I almost bought one at a surplus place but literally when I went back to grab it after I had finished walking around it was gone...should have grabbed it and walked around with it. I couldn't justify the electric one just to maintain one boat. Of course now I have two, but the other one is a two-stroke.

KKO is a dealer tech as well, so I assume it can do just as many oil changes, but I like not having to hook up to a battery to pump out the oil/fluids.
