mtnsmith, I'd check your distributor cap for any signs of carbon or corrosion, you may need to replace it. Since yours is an '05, you should also think about changing your impeller. Some do that every year, but you should never let it get more than 2 years old. It tends to dry out and get brittle. Nothing like ending a good day at the lake with an overheating problem. Check your plugs and inspect your plug wires.
Well, we've had the boat about a year and we have 200 hours on it. What particular maintenance would you-all do to the boat? I already plan on the oil, trans, and v-drive fluid changes. I also plan to do an impeller and the normal greasing of everything that can be greased to include the steering stuff. Anything I missed??? I plan to do this all on Sunday.
