My cap didn't last that long and I know of at least 4 other people with the same engine that had the same issue. That's not to say that yours couldn't, I would just check it.

I would recommend the fuel filter do to the humidity in fla, as for the cap rotor and plugs you should be able to go at least 500 hrs with no problems , I have gone as far as 1300hrs without a tune up , todays engines burn very clean with little wear.

Sister boat to my parent's boat that some other friends own. Big boat to trailer huh???

Alright, I'm getting an "Upload Error", I'll try the pics later.

I will just check the plugs for safety and also the cap. When do you think the fuel filter should be done?

I would not think the fuel filter would need to be changed at this stage.

As for the plugs, you really only need to inspect them. They should be changed at 400 hrs, along with the plug wires.

Is a fuel filter that should be changed???

The first one is our 22v; the second is my flats boat-16' Renegade, and yes we are wakeskating behind it; the third is the big boat Actually not my boat, but just like my parent's, and that one is a friend's that was being loaded at the factory in Sarasota, FL so I took pics for them.
    What pics?
