I have a 2011 R20 with 303 PCM motor and believe I am having an issue with the Throttle Position Sensor - but it is sporadic in nature. Sometimes when I start it, it's like it wants to go to WOT then limp mode kicks in. Other times, when pulling a wakeboarder with speedset activated, it kicks into limp mode. Once I shut down and restart - it's OK. Still other times while ideling, it starts to rev high, then backs down. I was trying to look for a bad ground as it appears the control voltage is kicking high, but tracing the throttle wiring harnesses back to the motor, I loose it. I did clean my battery terminals (single battery) and just started the boat in my driveway and no issues - but that was not a good test. Do you need to go to Marina to get codes reads or are there other options available? Marina is hours away, plus my son has wakeboard competions coming up that he needs to prep for...
