I have recently purchased a 2008 RZ2 in fairly rough condition. I was told that the tacho did not work which I thought I would be able to troubleshoot and fix. I was told that the Speedo and cruise control still worked.
On the first use of the boat I discovered that the Tacho, speedo, and speedset are not working. And the center LCD display has been removed from behind the dash. It is sitting in the mesh pocket beside the driver seat, but I reckon it is stuffed.
At the very least I would like to have a cruise control working. Aftermarket GPS would be my preferred option if I could find one, rather than spending extra on the speedset if it is going to keep breaking. The center LCD is my main worry.
Could the removed center LCD screen be the cause the malfunctioning?
The digital displays inside the 5 inch gauges are somewhat working.
Any advice where to start would be greatly appreciated.
