    Hey Houston, I learned this 3 part lesson a long time ago;
    1. The first mate is ALWAYS RIGHT.
    2. Even when they are wrong, they are right.
    3. The more you do to launch/load, the guiltier they will feel and offer to help. Then she will WANT to help.... start small. No woman wants to feel like she's ready for the Geritol ad, the more you don't let her do anything because it's too manly, the more she'll want to help.

    What we do to retrieve:
I get dropped off and back the trailer down.
She brings it in close, I winch it in.
That way we don't power retrieve and it's easier to get the chines settled on the bunks.
I also sweetly ask her to turn it off, twice because the FAE makes it so quiet you can't hear.

After a few times, I make it like the winch can't reach the hook and ask her to bring it in a little closer........

On vacation a few years ago, we stay at a place on West Lake Okoboji (Spenchy & Resnick know where), I drive the car/trailer to the ramp on East Lake and she has to drive it over, by herself at 7am when it is perfectly calm and glassy. I was waiting for her to bring it in, it seemed like it was taking a while, and caught the sun glinting off something in the middle of the lake--she was doing full speed S-Turns and uTurns by herself. That's how you get them to help

OK, so I spent some time on the phone this morning with Jim @ ACME Propellers and he was VERY helpful! Based on our conversation it looks like they are going to send me the 1235 and also the new 2131 5 blade prop to try out. I'm sure the 1235 will work out great but I'm really interested in trying out the 5 blade. They also have a new 5 blade coming in this week, a 2199 if I remember that we may try out as well. I'll just have to make sure we don't damage these!

Someone on WW posted that a 5 blade they installed after the 1235 cleaned up the rooster tail and prop wash. I'm really hoping that is the case as that is something that bothers me about the current setup.

He is doing a little more research on my specific boat and ballast set up to see if there is a better option first and is supposed to get back with me later today or in the morning. I emailed Daniel Watkins to get some information on the RZR he pulls the Australian tour with and see what he is using for the prop, weight set up, etc.

I'll start a new thread once I get them and can provide some testing details.

this is correct.. More cup would be like a tigter lower stall convertor. Wouldnt say one is better than the other but what matters on what you want the prop and boat todo! I like props with more cup they seem to hole shot better!

As far as a I know the 1631 is the same as the popular 1237 with a different cup, this is just what came on my boat, what I know works, and what I know is a monster out of the hole. I haven't seen anything about a 1235 on an rzr so Im going to recomend what I know will work...

So the larger diameter prop will give you more pressure or screw through the water.. So figure bigger diameter is like adding slicks to your car for better traction. And the pitch like your gears in the axle and the cup as your torque convertor stall speed

He is not going to get any burn from the 1235.. And the 1235 would be a much better choice over the 1631.

Just verified from an old post of mine that I have 1631. If youre not dead set on a cinco. Buy this one, trust me you will not regret it and why risk any prop burn? Ours is a monster out the hole, weve had full ballast and like 8 people on it for about 3200 plus lbs not including gear or fuel and it had no issues...

14.5 will and a 1235 would be great for your smaller boat..

Can anyone confirm the prop clearance for the RZR or R20? Will a 14.5" work without issue? How about a 15"?
