So this past weekend out on the water my engine alarm would turn on randomly. It’s a continuous loud beep and the only way to turn it off is to turn the boat off and back on again. I have a 2006 24ve. The alarm seemed to only turn on when I put the boat in neutral or right when I put it in drive. I checked all of the gauges and temp, oil pressure, and voltage were normal. I’ve also checked all ground connections and haven’t found anything loose or disconnected. The alarm doesn’t come on every time but just randomly throughout the day. Thinking this could be a bad sensor or something to do with the throttle. Any suggestions?
