2010-2011 Rz 2 Questions

I have been looking at used 2010-11 Rz2's online and have noticed that some have a polished looking dash bezel and glove box cover with the Tige swoosh and others have a brushed look and no swoosh. Was there an upgrade option to get the polished version? I also like the Carlotta steering wheels that were offered as an option, and if I find a boat without one, I may add one. I found them for sale on numerous boat sites which might be cheaper than getting them thru Tige although the center cap would not have the Tige logo. I also saw there are bezels available to use in conjunction with these wheels. Would one be required? If anyone has a good picture of the Carlotta on their boat from the side where the column comes thru the dash, can you post them? And lastly, does anyone know if the Tige and PCM warranties transfer to a second owner.

Here's a picture of the wheel.I don't think the lifetime hull warranty transfers but the pcm warranty should.I also think the 360 service is for the original owner.

They changed from the brushed to the polished look on the dash in the 2011's. One thing to note, though, is that the grab handles seemed to change from polished to brush sometime during the 2011 production cycle.

Thanks for the pics Robert. I doesn't look like it uses any special bezel. As far as warranty, I'm not to worried about the hull as i don't think they have ever had a failure, and not worried about blisters since i don't keep it in the water. I am more concerned about the Tige Touch and control systems. And of course the engine. Also not worried about fluid changes since there's no dealer anywhere close. I guess i may have to call them direct to check on the 360 bow to stern.

A couple more questions. Anyone know how much the bow filler cushion option was? One of the boats i'm looking at doesn't have one and I wondering what it might cost to buy one? Also, with the pro ballast, are there just two 600 lb under floor tanks in the back, or are there sacks as well? I have read that you can add a custom sac. Is it the same as the one MLA sells? I have one in my 22ve and wondering if I can just transfer it over to the Rz if I buy one.

The ballast consists of a pair of 250# tanks under the false floor and a pair of 350# sacs on top when the Pro/Surf option is added.

Although the sac you currently have is the same basic shape and size, the Plug-n-Play sac we designed for the Surf/Pro ballast upgrade has 4 ports specifically placed to match the port locations of the 350# sac that getting pulled out.

Mike, is the one i have adaptable or is it just easier to go with one of the new ones. Pm me what a new port bag would run so I have an idea.

Through the first part of the 2011 production cycle, I think they still had some of the brushed dash panels left over from 2010. I was told you could ask for those if you wanted them and they were still available.

Thanks for the information Vic. I hope the center bow cushion can be ordered for that price, but I have a feeling it'll be triple or quadruple that.
