I know this beep is normal but is it due to no oil pressure? Mine stops after a few seconds. I always thought that it was a warning beeper to warn you to look around and clear the boat and prop before starting the motor.Originally posted by chpthril View PostNormal.....no oil pressure.Wake Up or Stay On Shore!

J/K, I do know its the same tone that is put out when the oil pressure drops, but it could be used to indicate a number of things.

You are correct that it is the same tone for many different warnings. Now I am curious to know. I need to go find my owner manual.Originally posted by chpthril View PostCould be, but theres still no oil pressure til you start the engine
